The Lift Manufacturers Product Section (LMPS) members are the resource for industry best practices, standards, information, and equipment that lifts, rotates, tilts, and otherwise positions materials. Industry scissors lifts and tilters can also improve the working interface between people and the materials they must move to reduce injury, increase productivity, and eliminate wasted motion, while providing a significant return on investment.

Industrial lift equipment safely lifts people and materials in the manufacturing and distribution environment. Types of lift equipment includes, Adjustable Worker Elevation Platforms, Industral /Tilters, Lift Tables, Pallet Rotator or Pallet Inverter and Stackers

Lift Manufacturers members meet regularly to review, discuss and revise the standards for design, performance and proper operation of scissor lift tables, tilt tables, and turn tables.

LMPS Programs Include:

The development and promotion of industry standards for the design, performance and proper operation of lifts and lift systems.
The development and promotion of Safety, Training, Inspection and Maintenance recommendations that are available to all lift users.
The collection and dissemination of reliable industry statistics.
The preparation and distribution of educational and promotional materials as to the benefits of LMPS solutions.
The establishment of liaison and cooperation with private and governmental groups establishing standards and/or safety codes which are pertinent to this technology.
