Official Ecommerce Site Launched by Millwood

Thursday, April 28, 2016

Millwood, Inc. unvieled new features and products that have been added to its ecommerce site, Liberty Direct, recently at MODEX in Atlanta.
Liberty Direct, which allows customers to quickly and easily order packaging and material handling products, supplies and thousands of machine parts – all with the click of a button – was on full display in booth 1735.
“We recognize that our customers are busy. They are continually looking for convenient ways to quickly order products and parts,” said Millwood, Inc. Director – Corporate Marketing John Moore. “Liberty Direct fills this niche by allowing our customers to view instruction manuals and parts list for the packaging or materials handling products they have. Once they specify the correct part or product, they can then order directly online.”
What’s New?
We’ve added three new features that will allow for an easier and more positive experience for our customers.
Customers have been able to order using purchase orders or by providing a credit card over the phone, but now they can pay with a credit card without having to call and speak to one of our inside representatives.
Shipping rates can, now, also be calculated for pallet orders during the checkout process, which will give our customers a more accurate total prior to submitting their order.
The most exciting feature we are proud to announce is the live chat plugin that has been installed. This will allow customers to speak with our chat support team Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST to answer any questions or concerns regarding usability, order status, product information and more.
“Again, we are trying to make the system as easy to use as possible. By adding online credit card transactions and automatic shipping rates for pallets, we are maintaining this objective,” Moore said.
A growing demand for small pallet and other packaging material orders has led to the addition of pallets, stretch film, and various other products to Liberty Direct. Customers can now shop for these items from anywhere at any time at their convenience.
Several new hand films were added in an effort to meet the needs of all our customers. The films range in gauge and length and are used by several customers for different applications.
All of this and more will be expanded upon by one of our team members at certain times during MODEX April 4-7 in booth 1735 through several interactive mediums.
