  • Description: This session will help supply chain leaders determine where and how warehouse management systems (WMS), warehouse control systems (WCS), and warehouse execution systems (WES) fit into a distribution strategy. 
OMS 101: Why Order Management Is Key to Optimal Omni-Channel Execution and Fulfillment
  • Tuesday, April 4 (10:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.)
  • Description: This presentation explains the enabling technology required to meet evolving omni-channel customer demands and fulfillment options for retailers, distributors, wholesalers and 3PLs alike. The session will focus primarily on why Order Management Systems (OMS) are critical to optimally orchestrate and fulfill omni-channel orders.
“The lines have become blurred between some of the most common supply chain execution systems - WMS, WCS and WES – making it difficult to determine the best solution approach. I look forward to helping ProMat attendees pinpoint the differences between systems and determine which system, or combination of systems, will best meet their unique needs,” said Barnes.
