SPOKANE, April 6, 2019 - Branded PowerHandling Lifter, PowerHandling will handle all sales and support for the Pramac Lifter brand in North America, while continuing to distribute its own PowerHandling line of equipment under the PowerRoll, PowerMover, PowerPallet and PowerCart product categories.
PowerHandling Inc., based in Spokane WA, has 18 years of experience designing and building compact, yet powerful, battery operated material handling machines suited to a broad range of industrial applications including cart moving and pallet moving.
Pramac Lifter, based in Siena, Italy, has 33 years of experience manufacturing a broad range of Class III pallet moving machines for industrial, warehousing, retail and other commercial applications.
All PowerHandling Lifter products will ship from PowerHandling’s West Coast manufacturing / warehousing facility or one of its regional distribution centers.
As Dave Brigham, President of PowerHandling Inc. explains, “This collaboration is exciting for both organizations. Our PowerHandling material handling solutions are used across North America by many industrial customers and expanding our lineup with the Pramac Lifter products will improve our ability to meet customers’ needs”.
Federico Piersimoni, General Manager of Pramac Lifter, adds “Our mission is to grow worldwide by offering innovative and competitive logistic solutions, especially in the medium-duty and light-duty segments. This is achieved through our US partners, capable of providing the right commercial, logistical and after-sales support. We are sure that PowerHandling will be the right partner that will allow us to operate in North America replicating the same success and reaching the same market share that we have in Europe where Pramac is a leader in the warehouse medium-duty and light-duty sectors”.
Greg Newell, owner of PowerHandling Inc. says “The timing of this new collaboration to promote and support the Lifter line in North America has turned out to be even more opportune than first planned. The recently implemented 25% import tariffs on Chinese manufactured equipment narrows the price gap with Chinese equipment providing customers an unprecedented opportunity to adopt quality-built Italian engineering at very competitive pricing - now supported by our US sales and support team.”
