Matt Schlosser

In his most recent role, Matt led Hershey’s Global Supply Chain Transformation’s logistics initiatives and will lead the Global Operations Supply Chain Network Initiative going forward.

A proven change agent, Matt applies creativity, strategy, focus, and energy to routinely produce cross-functional break through results.

Matt is a frequent presenter on transportation, thought leadership, and change management topics. He is a CSCMP Plowman Award recipient, and a board member of The Central Pennsylvania Foodbank, one of the largest Foodbanks in the United States. He received America’s Second Harvest’s National Operations Model Program of the Year award in 2007. He also received the Rick Lenny People/Brands/Community Award in 2006.

His writings and research have appeared in “The Transportation Journal”, “The Journal of Transportation Management”, “Logistics Quarterly”, and “Practix”.

Prior to Hershey, Matt worked nine years in the 3PL space, providing logistics solutions to leading automotive and retail clients.

Matt holds a Bachelors degree in Logistics from Penn State and a Masters degree in Logistics from Michigan State University. He is presently a part-time faculty member at Penn State Harrisburg.

Matt, his wife Hether, and their three daughters reside in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania.
