Lenze Exhibiting at ProMat 2019

Eye-catching EASY Machine exhibit demonstrates Lenze’s portfolio of solutions

Tuesday, April 9, 2019

UXBRIDGE, MA, April 1, 2019 – Lenze Americas, a global leader and manufacturer of electrical and mechanical drives, motion control and automation technologies, will be exhibiting at ProMat 2019 in Chicago, IL, April 8-11.  At Booth S2422, Lenze will be introducing its eye-catching EASY Machine exhibit to the material handling industry audience for the first time.  It is a fun and fascinating demonstration presenting the complete range of Motion Centric Automation solutions that Lenze offers to customers.   The machine is completely equipped with the newest Lenze products and services showing that, from conveyor projects to robotics applications, Lenze offers the technology needed to build smart machines.
In addition to demonstrating centralized and decentralized drive solutions, and controller-based operations – the EASY Machine also allows Lenze to demonstrate its cloud computing capabilities.  Lenze is able to help customers reach the promised value of IoT and advanced analytics with a cloud-based solution that is easy, secure, reliable and tested.  And all the information available in our controller can be used and visualized.  This helps the OEM and end user to improve the OEE of the machine dramatically.  Customers can achieve return on investment (ROI) using quantifiable metrics, available in dashboard or report form, within the first few months of deployment.  Visitors to the booth will learn more about this solution which is suitable for services such as remote diagnostics and predictive maintenance, while maintaining high levels of security.
“We are very excited to be exhibiting again at ProMat and to have the opportunity to connect with the industry’s leading OEMs and end users,” said Joel Thomas, automotive and intralogistics manager, Lenze Americas.  “As Lenze continues to grow, so does its focus on the material handling and logistics industry – there’s been a concentrated investment in building a dedicated technical and commercial team trained to help our customers effectively solve their toughest challenges.”
There have also been increased investments in new manufacturing and assembly lines in the US, and increases in R&D personnel to develop products specifically suited to this industry – the Smart Motor and new i500 inverter to name two.  Providing innovative solutions engineered to benefit both OEMs and end users in the material handling and logistics industry is Lenze’s goal and will be the focus at this year’s show.
