Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products Provides Access to Hand Sanitizer for the Material Handling Industry
Monday, April 20, 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to have an unprecedented impact around the world and hygiene products are in short supply. Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products, manufacturer of ResinDek flooring panels, is able offer the Material Handling Industry access to hand sanitizer.
Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products’ parent company recently acquired a coating manufacturer. The coating manufacture has been able to retool, so they can produce 600 gallons of hand sanitizer per week. They are following the formulation guidelines distributed by the World Health Organization (WHO) and using 75% isopropyl alcohol. The CDC recommends the use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers with greater than 60% ethanol or 70% isopropanol when soap and water are not available. Although it is not a gel, it is designed to have the moisturizing properties of a gel, the stopping power of a surface cleaner and the ability to be sprayed out of a bottle. It can be used both as a hand sanitizer and a surface cleaner.
“The last several weeks have brought plenty of uncertainty, and unprecedented chaos into the world at large. Millions of people’s lives in the United States and around the world have been significantly impacted by the spread and containment efforts of the COVID-19 virus. We are proud to put our resources to work to help our industry combat the spread of COVID-19,” said Greg Doppler, President of Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products.
The hand sanitizer is available in 5-gallon pails or 55-gallon drums and is available for immediate shipping within the continental United States. For more information contact firstname.lastname@example.org
