The Mobile Automation Group (MAG) of Material Handling Industry (MHI) reports a strong year of accomplishments in 2022 with aggressive plans for 2023. “Coming off remote work and meeting requirements in 2021, we were not sure how quickly our group would ramp up in support of our industry,” stated MAG Chairman Mark Longacre of JBT. “But our member companies jumped right in, planning and creating content to help potential customers understand how mobile automation can solve their most difficult labor challenges.”
The mobile automation industry continues to see intense interest, with customers focusing on automating material movement in manufacturing and warehousing. As a result, suppliers in the industry are joining MAG to increase collaboration.
In the past four years, MAG has added 11 new member companies. In 2022, MAG members met to create two educational blog articles, one webinar, and multiple educational seminars at the ProMat and Pack Expo trade shows. Plans for 2023 will rapidly expand the thought leadership goals of the group, with ten blogs, four podcasts, two articles, one video, quarterly press releases, and an update of our online training modules planned.
MAG is one of 18 industry groups within MHI. MAG is a group of system and component suppliers that operate in the mobile automation market for material movement in manufacturing, warehousing, and other industrial applications.
MAG members are the industry’s leading suppliers of mobile automation systems. They supply systems worldwide and in virtually every major manufacturing and distribution sector.
