"The East Montgomery County Improvement District (EMCID), located 25 minutes from downtown Houston, is a government agency responsible for promoting economic and community development. We recruit retail, commercial and industrial businesses to locate within our 158 square miles, provide community development in the form of grants, special projects and festivals, and offer educational initiatives such as scholarships for local students.
